Bradley N. Shefrin


Brad Shefrin has served as a trial lawyer since completing a judicial clerkship in 1993. An AV-rated attorney, Brad has been rated a Super Lawyer –Top 100- by superlawyers.com for attaining a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Brad has also been recognized as a top construction-defect litigation attorney in 5280 Magazine.
Brad specializes in employment law, construction defense litigation, professional-lines, directors and officers and insurance defense. He has defended hundreds of subcontractors in a myriad of construction defect litigation cases. He frequently serves as a consultant and expert witness to other attorneys and insurance companies, and has testified as an expert witness in matters dealing with attorney’s fees and standard of care.
Brad’s management employment practice covers both municipal and private corporate employers in litigation and policy drafting in such areas as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Wage Act Claims, Civil Rights, workplace privacy, drug testing, and noncompete agreements. He has an immense working knowledge of the overlapping applications of various federal, state and regulatory laws, which continuously evolve as the incidence of employment claims – particularly those regarding discrimination – increases on the national level. Brad also has expertise in employee drug and alcohol testing and has addressed regulatory issues before the Federal Drug Testing Advisory Board in Washington, D.C.
A sought-out presenter, Brad has lectured to attorneys in presentations sponsored by the American Bar Association, the Colorado Municipal League, Stirling Education, Denver and Colorado Claims Associations, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association.
