Lauren E. Kuhn
Lauren Kuhn joined Nixon Shefrin Ogburn Drew in 2021 as an associate. Her practice is primarily focused on medical and hospital malpractice defense, but she also practices in the fields of premise liability, personal injury, property law, and employment law.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren practiced criminal law at a boutique law firm in Boulder, Colorado where she defended individuals charged with various crimes or violations before state courts and regulatory agencies. Her experience also includes being claims counsel for Fidelity National Title Group, which provided valuable exposure to unique real property law and title issues.
Lauren received her Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado.
Before attending law school, Lauren spent several years as a litigation paralegal with a prominent Denver firm where she gained valuable experience and skills in federal and state courts.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys exploring Colorado trails (but mainly sidewalks) with her dachshund Donovan, and relaxing outdoors with friends. As a Kansas City native, Lauren is a forever KC sports fan (Go Chiefs!), a self-claimed BBQ expert, and loves spending time with her family at the Lake of the Ozarks.
