Rodrigo Lugo joined Nixon Shefrin Ogburn Drew in 2020 as an associate. Their practice is primarily focused on medical and hospital malpractice defense, but they also practice in the fields of personal injury, employment law, property law and other commercial matters.
Rodrigo received their Juris Doctorate with Order of the Coif distinction from the University Of Colorado School Of Law in 2020. Prior to graduation, Rodrigo clerked at both the Colorado Supreme Court and the 20th Judicial District Court. Rodrigo also interned at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in the Business and Licensing Division, and at the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center, where they provided legal aid to victims of crime. While at CU Law, Rodrigo also participated in mock trial and was active in the Student Bar Association’s Wellness Committee.
Rodrigo is a native of Texas, and came to Colorado for law school. In their free time they equally enjoy both exploring Colorado’s landscapes and relaxing at home.
